The Cavalor Dry Feet 250ml iswidelt used by vets, farriers, grooms and riders in the battle against soft areas in the hoof and other areas related to thrush. After just a couple of days using Cavalor Dry Feet the frog and sole are noticeably drier.
Moisture and dirt can cause the frog of the hoof to become soft and result in thrush, especially during those wet winter months during turnout in muddy paddocks. Thrush is a very common bacterial infection that mainly occurs in the frog of your horses hoof, some horses are more prone to thrush than others especially if they have deep clefts and a narrow heel. As much as we try to keep our horses clean and dry, keeping them in a stable with manure or turning out in muddy paddocks creates the perfect environment for bacteria to thrive!
Thankfully Cavalor Dry Feet makes the hoof a less hospitable environment for the necrotic bacteria thanks to the combination of different active ingredients. Glutaraldehyde helps with drying the hoof and frog out whilst Benzalkonium Chloride makes sure the product sticks and holds onto the hoof for longer! By using Cavalor Dry Feet their aim is today the feet and frog out which in tern allows more oxygen to the area which kills the bacteria.
