The Cavalor Gastro Aid has an improved formula to include Mastica. Mastica has a positive influence on the taste of the product and is also advised in gastro-intestinal disturbances. Different studies (post mortem and gastro endoscopes studies) show that 75-89 % of horses in active training have gastric ulcers. The major cause of gastric ulcers is prolonged exposure of the squamous mucus to gastric acid. Cavalor Gastro Aid works on different levels (as with most CAVALOR products); it neutralizes acid production, protects the stomach mucus, has a healing effect on the stomach wounds and has a sedative, pain relieving action.
Cavalor Gastro Aid contains:
- Gentian: Stimulates Saliva production, anthelmintic and antiseptic properties.
- Ginger: Protects the stomach mucus.
- Chestnut extract creates a thin coating around the stomach wall to protect it from the irritation of acid.
Directions for use: it is recommended that the Daily quantity per animal per day is:
- Horses: 30g
- Maximum: 100g
- Apply for minimum 4 weeks.
Store in a cool and dry place (5-25 degrees). Product valid for 2 years after production.
